Emma Colwell
inspiring human connection through the arts
A little bit about me…
Emma is deeply empathetic by nature and began pursuing the arts to inspire human connection.
She performed at 15+ theaters in over 50 shows as an EMC actress from ages 10-18, won a Texas Young Masters Scholarship which granted her $10,000 to train in the arts, trained in film alongside theatre for 10+ years, and graduated with her BFA in Theatre: Emphasis in Musical Theatre from TCU (Summa Cum Laude).
FILM: Emma can be seen as Alice Lee in several episodes of Elkhorn on INSP (now streaming), and was recently on set as a leading role in (Pickle)ballers — a feature film which is currently in post-production. She has also played roles in several short/feature length student films and other indie projects.
THEATRE: Emma’s recent roles: Wendla (Spring Awakening) with the Watering Hole Collective, and Marci/Ensemble (Cruel Intentions) at Stage West/Uptown Players. She has also played Yonah (Children of Eden), Genevieve (Miss Molly), and Sister Mary Robert (Sister Act) all at Theatre TCU.
Other favorites: Juliet (Romeo & Juliet) at TTYP, Ariel (The Little Mermaid) and Penny/Amber (Hairspray) at Plaza Theatre Company, Snow White (Snow White and the Prince), Wendy (Peter Pan), and Becky (Tom Sawyer) at Casa Mañana.
